About 120 million Americans suffer from sleep disorders including narcolepsy, sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, the insomnias and simple sleep deprivation. Most are unaware. When sleepiness interferes with daily routines and activities, we provide a direct pathway to a healthier life. We diagnose and treat all sleep disorders in adults and seniors.

Sleep Disorders are serious medical conditions, which cause many chronic diseases. Effective treatment options are available which can prevent, as well as, reverse potentially life-threatening conditions such as Stroke, Heart attack, Memory loss and Dementia, Obesity, High Blood Pressure, Type 2 Diabetes, Depression and Anxiety Etc…

We are proud to be among the first truly integrated Medical/Dental/Sleep facilities in Maryland and indeed the United States with the goal of providing a unique and exceptional patient experience. Unique in its design and scope of diagnostic and therapeutic options which are available today, the Baltimore Sleep and Wellness Center is proud to be able to provide this all under one roof in order to optimize specific patient needs. Our diagnostic modalities include both attended in Lab sleep studies, as well as, unattended at home sleep studies for carefully selected patients. We are proud to have doctor Anahita Abdehou DDS a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and a member of the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine as part of our team at the Baltimore Sleep and Wellness Center. She can provide and prepare alternative therapeutic options such as oral appliance therapy (dental devices) at our facility for patients who cannot tolerate traditional CPAP therapy or those who simply wish to start with a dental device which may be less cumbersome for the treatment of their Sleep Apnea. There are many types of dental devices which Dr. Abdehou may consider preparing for patients based primarily on their oral anatomy and the severity of the obstructive sleep apnea. We understand that Sleep apnea is linked to many chronic disease states and we strive to provide our patients with the most advanced clinic care and follow up to successfully monitor and treat their sleep disorder. We collaborate closely with ENT surgeons who have an avid interest in Sleep apnea treatment and our team is always available and responsive to our patients and referring physician's needs. We are very committed to providing structure and follow up in our clinic so that all patients succeed on their path to healthy and restful sleep.
